LOVE CHANGES EVERYTHING

" And you will love the Lord your God with all your heart , and with all your soul, and with all your mind and with all your strength: this is the first commandment" Mark 12:30

   When you love somebody, it changes everything. It affects everything. It touches very area of your life. When we love God, as the verse above says, how will that actually be expressed in our lives? There are obviously three areas that will change. It will change how we THINK, how we FEEL, and how we BEHAVE.

    Several years ago a guy named Benjamin Bloom developed a "taxonomy" for educational systems. It is still used today in most every public and private school system. You may be familiar with the "three domains of learning". Teachers  plan for learning in these areas: the Cognitive, Affective, and the Psycho Motor. It is interesting that when we study the Scriptures, we find that every passage has an application in at least one of these areas. Through the scriptures we learn that loving God affects how we THINK (Cognitive), How we FEEL (Heart and Soul), and how we BEHAVE (Psycho-Motor).

     "He that loveth not knoweth not God: for God is love" I John 4:8...."Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another" I John 4:11.  It 's really true,  Love really does Change Everything!
